All donations to the charity supports the work we do interpreting the lives of Crannog dwellers from the past, but also allows us to use the collection we care for to inspire, educate, and strive for social justice on a local, national, and international stage.
This scheme is open to members of the public who would like to become part of the 21st Century Crannog Community and help us continue our mission – to care for and make accessible, the finds of Scottish crannog excavations and to interpret the lives of crannog dwellers for the benefit, enjoyment, education and inspiration of people of all ages.
The subscription is available to purchase individually or as a gift.

As we get ready to open the doors to our new museum, built with 1000 fingerprints and 1000 voices, we invite you to celebrate this with us through the installation of a new public artwork ‘The Gathering’ on the shore of Loch Tay. This installation is created by local award-winning designer and maker, ANGUS ROSS. This structure will reach 3 meters in height and stand in the open air to complement the surrounding local scenery. It will be made of local oak and is inspired by the ethos and work of the Scottish Crannog Centre, reflecting our values of working together, community, interconnections, and togetherness. Personalised discs will sit at the heart of each pillar, all engraved with messages and memories from our supporters.
Standing at 3m tall and 4.45m across, this structure will cut a stunning piece on the shore of Loch Tay at the Scottish Crannog Centre’s new home.
If you would like to Support the Centre and join the Gathering Please fill out the form below and email to shop@crannog.co.uk
