Come and kit yourself out with some handcrafted leather shoes based on archaeological prehistoric finds from northern Europe.
Using vegetable tanned leather, you’ll cut a pattern to fit your feet and learn to stitch, lace and shape the shoes until they’re comfortable (and stylish!). Share tales and stories by the fire as you work away in the tranquil setting of our loch shore. We’ll look after you with an offering of a hearty lunch and refreshments served to you from our Iron Age kitchen. You’ll go away prepared for trekking the highlands in your finished leather shoes to take away home.
Come along to our other outfit workshops to complete your Iron Age Outfit!
