The Crannog Centre will be closed for one day, on the 25th March for staff training


Grand Opening - 30th March

Although the Centre has been open to the public since 01 February this year, 30th March sees the grand opening day when visitors will get chance to meet the team and find out what we will be doing throughout the 2019 season.

11.00 Aberfeldy Gaelic Choir will be singing in the Crannog

Textiles 

Iron Age style cooking with tasty seasonal bites

Wood-working 

Nettle with Birte Forde

Leatherworking with Hamish Lamley

Meet the Curator and Collection with Frances Collinson 

Crannog tours and demonstrations of ancient technologies. 

Plus, sound artist Kim Walker, Museum Galleries Scotland learner Ellen Pryde, musician Munro Gauld will be on hand to talk about their work in the 2019 season with the Crannog.
