Marketing and Communications Officer

Full Time Position

The Scottish Crannog Centre is looking for a marketing officer to join their team to devise and deliver an innovative marketing strategy as part of the Dalerb development.

Roles and Responsibilities:

– To devise and deliver a new marketing strategy to support the relocation of The Scottish Crannog Centre to its new site at Dalerb.

– To identify media opportunities in order to promote the Dalerb development, capturing and disseminating the process. 

– To create engaging content, ant deliver marketing and media campaigns for current site activity.

– To deliver the transition from hard copy marketing to a paper-less model.

Experience:

Have a knowledge of, and experience in, digital marketing, and developing online content through various channels/modes of communication.

Details:

Salary £22,500. Normal hours of work are 9am – 5.30pm. 

Based at the Scottish Crannog Centre. Own transport essential.

Learning Officer

Part Time Position

The Scottish Crannog Centre is looking for a learning officer to join their team to devise and deliver a learning strategy for visitors of all ages, in line with the values and vision of the Crannog Centre. 

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

– To devise and deliver a learning strategy for visitors of all ages.

– To support the relocation of The Scottish Crannog Centre to its new site at Dalerb, maximising learning opportunities from the start of the build onwards.

– To develop programmes of talks, activities and workshops around particular themes, events and exhibitions.

– To build meaningful partnerships with schools, further and higher education organisations and teachers to promote the Crannog Centre and the use of the museums collections in line with the National Curriculum.

– To create and develop inspiring and fun educational resources for all visitors both physical and online. 

– To work to promote a learning culture within the organisation that connects to the work of the Crannog Centre and beyond.

Experience:

You will ideally have experience in, and knowledge of, the national curriculum or a learning/teaching background in some capacity. 

Details:

Salary £22,500 pro rata, 20 hours per week.

Normal hours of work are 9am – 5.30pm. 

Based at the Scottish Crannog Centre. 

Own transport essential.
