Dr Nick Dixon, founder of The Scottish Crannog Centre was awarded the OBE at a ceremony at Buckingham Palace.

The second meeting between Prince Charles and Dr Nick Dixon took place in November, only this time The Prince was on home territory at Buckingham Palace to present Nick with his OBE (Order of the British Empire).

The OBE was awarded to Nick in recognition of services to underwater archaeology, public engagement and the Scottish economy.
