A Celtic Summer - enjoy an Iron Age Summer's Day!

Thursday 19th July 2018
10.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.

Summer sunshine is difficult to work in - whether it was 2,500 years ago or today! Join the Crannog community for a relaxing day full of summer fun.

Tempting summer dishes are on offer as Crannog life relaxes for the day: savour pit-roast meats, cook wild boar sausages over a camp fire and make your own flatbread.

Create a beautiful flower garland using bright summer foilage and flowers.

Donations will secure you a tasty meal and the chance to make and take away your own beautiful flower garland.

Experienced paddlers can take one of our replica log boats out on the loch for a donation.  What better way to spend a lazy summer's day than paddling out over the cool sparkling water.

Get the kids involved in making light out of repair and maintenance required on site - turn work into fun and you'll get a lot more done!

Ancient games and pastimes throughout the day.
